I am dumfounded. It's manual transmission but there is a container for ATF in the front of the motor. Another dumb question-- Just to the side of that one with a large hex on top-- Is that my oil filter. Signed by scared to touch my baby.
Yes - it's the power steering reservoir - late BMWs use ATF for power steering fluid. The manual tranny probably uses ATF as well like Vance has said, but there won't be an external reservoir for it.
