Hi to all! I just purchased a 93 525i and all excited. This is the first BMW I have owned and looking forward to it. Anything to watch for to keep this 525i running like it should?
We have some really great mountain roads here in Oregon, someplaces to check the handling on 525. Should be fun and exciting, as long as I know my limits, if you know what I mean. [:p]

hey, welcome to BMWboard. Just keep good oil, a clean filter and fresh coolant, oh and good gas. that should keep your car churning for a long long time. [wiggle]

Welcome to the forum! [:)]
Have some fun on those roads, but don't get caught up in the moment and get all crazy. Get very well acquainted with the car while approaching its handling limits...you wanna have fun and be safe! [thumb]

Welcome aboard! You'll find many good nuggets of bmw knowledge in the forums here, and alot of folks that really know BMW's inside and out. Have fun learning your car, and give us some pics when you get a chance. [thumb]

Sounds like a good ride. Not very familiar with 5 series, but i can tell you some no-brainer things not to do, and to do. Don't drive it around like it's a race car. Don't rev up your engine at high rpms(well not all the time). And do normal and consistent checkups and oil changes.
