i'm very intrested in upgrading my current hoopty to one of these nice pieces of machinery. But wanted some input from a website with some knowledgable people. 292K miles engine is clean, no oil, shifts smooth, check engine ligh stays on but seller states its from using low octane fuel ( i figured he would put some super in it to show it respond). Nothing else seems to be wrong with it other then a few cosmetic blemishes. now my question is worst case scenrio, if engine needs rebuilt, can a local who has knowledge of repair be able to take care of this without ripping my wallet out my azz? I know i will have to put some money into it for repair. But this car had a rebuild on it less then 50K at a local specialty shop. I want something luxurious and fun to drive and want to know what you guys think.

yeah I know I get alot of that but I will take a chance. besides it rides nice and the motor was redone less then 80K miles ago along w/tranny. so say hello to the newbie with the new 740 hoopty....and as expected I will drop some money into her until she's dependable enough to be a daily driver
