hello ...i'm new to the site,just looking for some advice on a car i'm thinking about buying .I'm in newfoundland,Canada..recently a friend of mine pointed out a car that he figured i'd like..and he was bang on ...i love it!
but before i jump into anything i'm obviously going to get it checked out...its a 1979 323i convertible,direct from germany...all writing in car and owners manual is german...i assume that this car may differ in some ways from the 323 made in and for north america...but still looking to see if anyone knows any weak(or strong)points of this car, or year of car.Any hints on what to look for in this perticular model or all bmws for that matter would be greatly appreciated.....
i've been driving a vw fox for 7 er 8 years now ....and although its been great and terrible ...i still love the german enginering, hands down...
