I saw something on an Ebay listing saying to call BMW Custormer Service and give them the VIN for a history. Maybe the owner has to give permission, I don't know. Anyway, the phone # given is 1-800-831-1117.

All they can tell you is the service history and they will regardless of the previous owner. They will not give any personal information and BMW has no accident history information.
