Hello all,

I'm considering the 325ci and was wondering what bmw delerships are like when it comes to haggling over price. Not planning on adding many options so I'm looking at an MSRP of around $31,700, what is realistically going to be the lowest they would go to?

As for the car, I'm pretty sure it will be stunning, I'm thinking mettalic black with black leatherette interior. I'll be trading in my 2001 mustang, so i expect the difference in quality will be noticeable.. but will I notice a difference in speed?

thanks for any replies.

If it's a V6 Mustang, you won't notice too much. They have pretty much the same numbers. You will notice the BMW is a lot quieter so the sensation of speed is sorta less b/c you don't have that roar to tell your brain the engine is working hard.

When dealing with dealerships, you work off of invoice, not MSRP. Assuming there's only 1 or 2 dealers near you, I'd say $1000 over invoice is a good goal to shoot for. That's for a 2004 model.
