Have just purchased for my wife a 1997 528iSE auto saloon fully spec'd (cost new 37K) in silver with leather interior. Immaculate condition, bought privately from a work aquaintance at trade price. Its completed 58K miles and has just been fitted with a new engine at BMW's expense, due to worn bores. Full dealer history helped with the engine.
