I just bought my first BMW last week a 2003 325i are there any quirks I should look out for when taking care of her? She has 11,000 miles on her so she is just worn-in. I am looking foward to many good years with her.

with that many miles i dont think you have to worry about anything right away. use premium gas and pay attention to what the car is telling you (sounds, check engine light, smells).

This summer we are going to have record gas prices so i have been told.

The only thing I would do right now is have the oil changed, but that's not even necessary.

I agree with Emile on the oil change, with that low of miles the only thing I would worry about is enjoying the car as much as possible.
