Just Bought a BMW

Hi. I just picked up my 2004 330CI, black, performance package, sport package, way cool.

My wife has a 2000 325i and she loves it. I looked at a new Mustang GT V8 convertible, but she easlily talked me into this Bimmer. Only a day, and I am very glad she did!

Any tips?

Congrats that's one hot package...

I suggest changing the Synthetic oil every 7500 miles, not 15,000 miles.

If you want an engine with sludge do the 15,000 mile services.

Thanks, I really am a BMW newbie, I wasn't so hot on the wife's 325i, it seemed small to me, but the coupe seems to have more room, at least for the front seat people. The 330ci is also a whole lot quicker than the 325i, even with auto over her manual.

I did "teach" her how to drive hers, though. She drove it like a Ford until I showed her it's supposed to be pushed a little. It took a while, but now she knows a BMW issupposed to go, not putt-putt.

I know it's new to me, but I can't imagine ever buying anything different than BMW in the future.
