Leak!!!!!

Hiya, i've got a leak underneath my car. I've ruled out everything else apart from the transmission. I've had a good look underneath and this is the problem. I reckon its probably the seal but i'm no expert. Was wondering if anyone was able to offer any advice and how much this is likely to cost me in the UK. I can take pictures of it if anyone wants me to be exact where this leak is coming from.

I'll get some pics sorted out. The stuff leaking is blacky coloured like oil. Its not a bad leak. Leaks more when parked downhill and less when parked uphill. When it is leaking its not pouring out or anything like that just wee drips every now and then but its bothering me.
