Just thought I'd introduce myself...
I drive a '92 525i that I bought from my dad this summer. I'm fairly new to the BMW world, but I'm in love...
It runs in the family. My dad has a '98 328i, and my brother has a '94 325iS. We've also had a '85 325e that was passed from my dad to my brother, then sold because my brother didn't have enough time to fool with the things that kept breaking. I miss that car. The E30 is my favorite body style, especially with the body kit that was on it.
I enjoy working on my car and doing as much of the repairs myself that I can. Since I've had the car, I've replaced a couple pulleys, replaced the wood trim around the shifter with a piece that I finished myself, and broken the A/C belt tensioner. Hah. In the near future I plan on painting it, re-doing the headliner that is starting to fall down, getting a shift kit (it's pretty loose and sloppy, with a very long throw), and fixing various minor things on the interior.
