First this is a cool site!! Second my wife and I are proud new BMW owners. We just purchased a 1986 535i last night with 209K miles. I must say that this car is a blast to drive!!! [headbang] She's all stock, plan on doing some mods over time, nothing serious for the momment, she is going to be our daily commuter so probably need to keep it somewhat tame.
I do have a question for all bimmer owners with the 5spd, is the slop a noraml BMW thing or??? We looked at another one before buying this one and it was the same way slop in shifting kinda like fishing for the gears. So I think maybe this might need some attention soon.
