New Owner of a 530I

Love the car so far. Hate the cup holders! I traded a Lexus ES300 in for the BMW. I loved my Lexus and had no issues with it at all. I hope that is how the BMW will be.

Does anyone have any major problems with their 5 series?

Congratuations. Great car. Enjoy it.

No major problems with mine so far. The moon roof recently stopped working normally so I'll have to take it in for that but otherwise it runs great.

The reason why your cup holders are so crappy is because your not suppose to drink in your car; one of the oldest shall I say peeves of the Germans. But smoking, hell they do that at 150 on the autobahn. Congrats even if the design of the new cars aren’t to everyones liking the 5er remains one of the best 4 door saloons in the world.

I agree, the cup holders SUCK!!! All the engineering they do and cant come up with a decent design. Other than that, the car is velvety smooth. Simply love it.

No major problems that I know of with the 5-series and that specific model, my dad has had a bunch of hte 5 series over the years, and always have been great cars
