New to owning a BMW, have a few questions: any help is appreciated. Just bought a 2001 330CiC with 41K.

QUESTIONS:
* Does the remaining warranty (9K miles) automatically transfer over to me? Or do I have to call BMW or fill stuff out.
* What does the warranty cover? I'm assuming not the clutch, but is it just drivetrain or bumper-to-bumper.
* Anyone know if scheduled maintenance (oil changes) are included until it hits 50K?
* The owners manual says that by holding the unlock button down on the key, the windows and top will lower. . .any thoughts why that wouldn't happen?

And finally, how much should I budget for speeding tickets, because damn, that car makes me want to fly!!!

Great choice!

The warranty follows the car, so you won't have to get the warranty transfered (VIN #)
The warranty is bumper to bumper, but I believe in '01 it did not cover wear items
scheduled maintenance is covered for 3yrs or 50k, I believe
You might need a new battery for the remote - the remote can have enough juice to open your doors, but not enough to send a constaint signal

Good luck on not getting any speeding tickets, it's not easy.
