Hello all,

I just joined the BMW club about a week ago and I must say, this is the best ride I've driven yet! I've just recently purchased the 2008 Montego Blue 335XI. I was hoping some my fellow bimmmer owners may be able to answer some questions.

#1) So I have the IPod USB adapter (the one that we can control through the audio system) in the car. It was working fine the first few days until recently, the audio interface is not picking up the music in my ipod. The AUX audio keeps saying that it's trying to load the music into the interface (usually takes about 3 secs) but it's just been freezing with trying to load message. Any ideas of what may be causing th problem?

#2) This one may be a stupid question, being a new BMW driver I need to know. So the newer models has the function on the side view mirror that adjust automatically to face the curb when you're trying to reverse to parallel park. Again it was working for the first 2 days and now it doesn't do that anymore. Any ideas here?

If someone can pls shed some light on this, much appreciated my fellow bimmers!

Welcome to the board! I have no idea reference your questions, but please now stop making duplicate threads, I keep having to moderate them. Sometimes our filters do not post a thread because of something you may have said or referenced and until a moderator accepts it it does not post.

Not sure about the radio / ipod thing, but the other I think this may help.

First, I'm sure its in the owner's manual, but if the mirror adjustment switch is on one mirror, instead of in the middle, that feature will not work. I have noticed this in a 1997 528i. I am of course assuming it works the same way in the 2008 3 series.
