no alarm for door ajar?

Hi all, I am a very new BMWer, just got my first BMW 525T. How come I don't get any alarm (audio or visual) when any door is ajar while the car is moving? Appreciate any answer.

my 325 doesnt have one either, but its kinda easy for me to hear when the door's not closed right.

Yea I hear wind rushing into the car and I instantly know.
