I bought a used 1985 325e 6 banger.

And now i need to replace the oil pan.

HELP

I took off all the bolt to the pan, but it is still very tight.

Do i need to get rough with it.

Do i need to loosen any bolts to the trany.

Does any one have a schematic.

just from experience with other cars...sometimes if there is a bunch of gunk, it may have gotten frozen. Use some type of gasket remover spray, being careful about overspray. Take a cloth and wrap it around a flat head screw driver / gasket scraper / pry bar and carefully work at it. Be sure not to scratch the pan otherwise it may lead to leaks.
