First of all, I'd like to start off saying that-- although I can't place my finger on it-- I love driving my BMW 320i, it's one of the older E21s manufactured pre-'84.
I, actually, joined this community in hopes that I would be able to find those more familiar with its design than myself. However, that would appear to be a topic for another sub-forum.
A little background about myself:
I've primarily only driven/owned Japanese makes, not wanting to bother with some of the American models, which, today are actually more expensive than their imported brethren. However, my Lancer became too expensive for me, on my limited student budget. So, I purchased my BMW from the enighbor, he had it sitting in his driveway, ran like a charm. What can I say? I had an infatuation with it. I only spent 800 to purchase the car and it ran flawlessly for quite some time.
Anyway, as far as past message board experiences, I've been a member of quite a few, most prominently as a member of Gamingforce, under the same username.
Glad to have found this forum and hope to become a contributing member of the community.
