Hey All, wasn't sure where to post this thread so here goes:

I'm running a JL Audio 250/1 Amp, JL Audio 300/4 Amp, and JL Audio 12w3v2 Sub..

I'm looking for speakers that will match up well with this system. Preferably 5.25" in size.

Lastly, soundstaging? what does this mean exactly? I thought its whether someone likes the sound coming from the rear only or the front? If so, which is best? why not all front AND rear?

Thanks, let me know everyone. :)

sound staging is complicated but its basicly setting the system up so that the music reaches your ears at the same time which unless u sit in the middle off the car is quite hard but u can fiddle with the balance and fade to help move it so the speakers that are on the passenger side are a little louder than the drivers ones that will help a bit i dont know if u can get them over there but focal speakers are brilliant i brought some not cheap but well worth it if u want 2 know abit more let me know

ya know alpine has been working on the sound staging thing, there new deck, im not sure which one, but it actually will speed up the rear speakers, like play the music through them tenths of a second before the front ones and it ends up hitting your ears at the right time.

i have the manual around here somewhere that gives all the details of it...

Alpine has been doing that for years actually. What it actually does is delay the signal going to speakers closer to your ears so it all evens out. They have software online that figures out what figures to put in depending on distance from the different speakers (that you provide, there is no preset data for each car, you have to do some work).

I have one of their older head units and you can really hear the difference, its not much but you can feel the virtual center point move around the car, very entertaining at the least.
