Voice Commands

Hello: Just picked up my 2008 BMW 535xi without a Navigation System. I was dissapointed to find that only my telephone responded to Voice Commands. I was told by BMW that the other systems( climate control, radio, cd, car data, etc will not respond to voice commands without a navigation system. There is no mention of this in the user's manual and the dealer certainly did not mention it.

Do any of you without a navigation system are experiencing the same situation?

can u post some pics of the car?
no, havent heard of u being able 2 do that w/ the voice...what ur thuinking if is key and vehicle memory- when u unlock the car w/ the remote, it moves/applies ur last steeings 4 radio, climate , seats, etc. how u do this is listed in the owners manual.

Thanks for your response. The settings you mention does work fine with the remote key when I unlock the car.
I will take a picture when I get around to it and post it. Thanks again.
