Washing a BMW

Alright guys and girls here is a question!

What kind of material would you use to wash a BMW so that it won't hurt or damage the exterior and also the interior? [???1]

Today was the first time i hand washed the car, and I used just plain water and used one of those nice soft skin towles to wipe the car.

Give me some feedback, let me know how you wash your cars.

Would you guys trust going to a hand car wash to get the exterior washed if you don't get the time to do it yourself?

My only fear is scratches and all the other crazy stuff that happens out there.

Check the place out first. I looked at one hand wash place near me. The workers have those chain wallets, metal watches, etc. Stuff that can scratch if they're not paying attention. I dunno if they get paid enough to.
