what do people do for switched auxiliary power outlets

I have a 2004 325xi wagon

I notice only the cig lighter for power up front

what do people do for radar detectors and cell phone power TIA?

Purchase an adaptor that turns the one outlet into two.........I got mine at Radio Shack.......
