BMW 325i - 5 spd manual: Worth it?

A 4 year old bmw is no doubtedly better than a new accord. don't be crazy.

Err, I dunno about that, and I'm a bimmer nut, but my 2 years experience show me that BMW is like any car brand - you can get a good car, or a lemon - either one can cost more than the other if you make a bad selection.

Go BMW man, a 4 year old BMW is just like a new car in terms of what condition the car is in. a 4 year old Honda feels 4 years old - if that makes any sense to ya.

Thanks for all the answer folks, I told the lady that I would buy the car. I do not
know her, have no reason to trust her words, but the couple appear to come from
pretty upscale life, and, moreover the car looks/drives good.

If folks here could only answer my earlier question: How can I find more
information about what was done on the car, other than what she has told. The
car has no warranty of any kind, and I am hoping that the car is in an excellent shape.

The dealership will give you a printout of the vehicle service history. Get the VIN and tell the dealership that you looking at buying the car. I have done this several times.

I know people on this board contantly tell you how good a BMW is, but they can nickel and dime you. I suggest you purchase a certified BMW. I might cost you a little more, but it's definitly worth it. With a 100k warranty, it can save you some $.

I'm pretty sure a 1992 325i automatic would feel better than a 2001 honda accord.
