I have a friend with an accord (1991), and it's a decent car, especially for the money. If you're looking for reliability, the E36 is going to be nowhere as reliable as the Honda, and is going to be far more expensive to fix if something does go wrong. If you're looking for performance, fun, luxury, or girls, definitely go with the Bimmer; there is no other.

Besides...no one ever goes "ooOh...nice accord!" ;)
ACTUALLY..... I've heard it once or twice with the same friends previous accord (91 wagon). It was done up pretty nice, but some lady hit him and bent the frame...

I just posted a new thread up in a diff section similar to this. I am shopping around and I currently own a 2003 Accord coupe v6 with everything but navi. I just got the car back from it having its crank shaft replaced and a gasket. I wont mention also i had to have the entire dash and ctr console replaced along with a cummulitive time of probably 5 days of work done. and theres more to be done. disturbing repairs albeit. So i am going to try and enact the lemon law or have it bought back. Im going with the bimmer and have found 2 nices ones.

this is a copy of my thread i created in another section:

First, how much more are repair costs in relativity to repairs on say a 2003 honda?

I have my eye on 2 bm's in CT. Both are 2001 sedans, both manual, both sport pkgs. one is an xi and the other an "i". They are both listed for $25k but one has 36k(the xi) on it and the other 45k miles... how does that work out that they have the same prices? Its looks as though they both have all the same options with the sport pkg and all. You would think the xi with only 36k miles would be more than the one with 45k on it and it isnt an AWD.

Also they are at the North Haven BMW. Is anyone familiar with them? I live in Boston. Thanks for any help
