DRWWE & others, I agree with you that teenagers should earn their own BMW (or any luxury car). As myself, I used to really want to own a BMW, and still do. but i learn that i have to earn it myself. So, therefore I got a job at a local volvo repair shop for the summer, earn some money. But however, did not buy a BMW, but a Volvo. Well, I wanted a newer model BMW 5's, (01-present). BUt did not have the money for it, and besides older BMWs are also expensive to me. So i bought a volvo 240 in very good condition. And today its well maintained by me. But later on, maybe after college and have a long-term automotive job. I'll save the money, and earn myself a BMW.

Also, I have friends who drive $30k and over vehicles, esp. a E46 M3 during my senior high school yr in 2003. I still think, what were their parents thinking? buying them a nice car when they havnt even driven a old/beat up car.

To all the parents out there, good luck with your money. Let your kids earn their own BMW,MB, EVO 8, etc...........

yo dude, just get her a New Beetle man. You know she wants that shit and it received a flawless safety rating from IIHS.

I think I'd get more girls in a New Beetle than my car. [:(]
